How do I know if my radon mitigation system was installed correctly?
The discharge point of the system must be at least 10 feet above grade, 10 feet away or 2 feet above any opening to the interior of the home, AND terminate above the eave of the roof. The system fan should be located in either the attic, garage (provided there is no living space above the garage), or outside of the home. Please reference this comprehensive radon checklist for more information.
