Tri-County Health Department offers a dietetic internship accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (A.N.D.).

Internship graduates are eligible to write the Registration Examination for Dietitians to earn RD status.

Internship Features:
• Community/Public Health focus
• Four to six interns selected annually
• 10.5 month program (46 weeks)
• Wide variety of dietetic experiences
• Over 20 RDs on staff at Tri-County
• Caring preceptors to guide interns
• Graduates have a 95% first-time pass rate on RD exam

Application Deadline:
Applications must be submitted via
DICAS by February 1st.
