As we age, the range of services that are needed to support health, well-being and quality of life can become more diverse and complex. Finding and accessing available services and support systems to meet these complex needs can sometimes be confusing. In the metro-Denver area there are several resources designed to make this process easier.
The Network of Care is a comprehensive, community-based website to provide current information on services available to older adults, their families and their caregivers. It is sponsored by the Denver Regional Council of Government’s Area Agency on Aging, it also has a medical library, information about assistive devices, and links to other organizations and services. Senior Source, is an easy-to-navigate website that provides current information on available services, activities, events and issues of importance to older adults. It is sponsored by 9News, the Colorado Department of Human Services and well-respected community partners.
