The Tri-County Health Department “Public Health Hero Award” recognizes an individual, business or agency that has worked to improve public health. Nominees have to be from a field other than public health and are nominated and selected by Tri-County Health Department employees. Our
Public Health Heroes
are recognized at a reception held the evening
of a Board of Health meeting, they recieve an engraved
plaque and they are profiled
below.
