Occupational health and safety laws have greatly improved the working conditions of Americans by regulating permissible chemical and physical hazard exposures, and requiring employers to provide a safe and healthful work area for employees.

Gains have been made through improved hazard awareness and safety plans, protective equipment, better regulations and new technology.

Tri-County Health Department provides occupational health consultations and sampling to industry and provides services to the average citizen. For more information contact Michele Kinshella at 720-200-1582.
