Welcome! Tri-County
Health Department is the largest local health department in Colorado.
It is our mission to protect, promote and improve the health, environment
and quality of life for the residents of Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas
Counties.
As
a public health agency, we recognize the importance of the education
of our future nurses. Our
Nursing Division proudly works with over ninety student nurses each
year to provide a wide variety of informative and meaningful public
health experiences.
During clinical rotations, student nurses
work closely with trained Tri-County Health Department Clinical Scholars.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about public health nursing
and to participate in innovative public health practices.

Our
Clinical Scholars are matched to work with select
universities. Because of this, they have built relationships with professors
and are familiar with the course curriculum.
