Inspections of Public Pools and Spas / CPO Classes

Tri-County Health Department regulates almost 500 public swimming pools and spas yearly. Proper maintenance can help prevent gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases that may be spread via improperly maintained pool water.

Tri-County also conducts two-day classes and administers state-approved exams for licensing of Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
