Now in its 17th year, the Denver Komen Race for the Cure will be held on Sunday, October 4th. The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation is the world's largest and most progressive grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, they have invested nearly $1 billion, becoming the world’s largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated

The Komen for the Cure Denver Metropolitan affiliate helps to carry out the mission of the national organization: to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through advancing research, education screening and treatment.

Tri-County Health Department is a beneficiary of a grant from the Denver Metropolitan Komen for the Cure Foundation, which helps to provide free mammograms for our clients.

Our Women's Health Services:
Tri-County Health Department provides free breast exams, mammograms, Pap tests, pelvic exams, cholesterol screening, blood pressure readings and blood sugar tests to qualifying women. Weekly clinics are scheduled across the metro area. Visit our Peak Wellness page for more information.
